College Wood Elementary’s “Made By Milk” Project

College Wood Elementary Cafeteria/Green Team is excited to announce our school will participate in the “Made CW milkBy Milk” recycling milk carton design contest!

 

From September 19th through October 11th students will start collecting empty milk cartons in the cafeteria for use in building an artistic “milk carton creation.” Within these dates we are looking for parent volunteers during lunch periods Tuesdays/Wednesdays to help ensure that the milk cartons are placed into the correct recycle bin. If you are interested in volunteering and have a current background check, please click the Sign Up Genius Link below:

What will CWE create?  Students have decided to create a Pegasus!

We are currently accepting applications for the Student Creation Recycling Club.  This group will be a team of students dedicated to the actual building of the art creation. Those in the club will meet after school on Fridays from 2:40-3:45 starting Friday September 29th – November 17th.Students in grades 3-5 are eligible to apply for this club and may pick up applications in the cafeteria and/or parents may download from the CWE PTO website.  Please note that parent signatures on the application are required.
